In a game of basketball, five players from each team take the court at any given time. The responsibility given to this starting five is immense—they set the tone offensively and defensively from tipoff to be followed up until the final buzzer. In times when players need to rest or get in foul trouble, one player takes on the crucial role of keeping up the offensive run, or making a defensive stop, and leading the pack.

That player is The Sixth Man, the leader of the team’s second unit. And this man was Titan and THE’s inspiration for their Replacement Killers collection. With THE’s established reputation in local street wear and Titan being the sole basketball concept store in the country, the collection is a celebration of basketball, the streets, and their brands’ cores.

The collection, launched last March 22 at Titan Fort, was designed by THE’s resident designer Auggie Fontanilla, who said that The Sixth Man encapsulated what they are—underdogs who stick true to their core. It uses signature design staples from THE’s Grim Reaper to Titan’s lightning bolt, bringing out the spirit of Replacement Killers—an ode to the Sixth Man’s cold-blooded instincts, with ice running in his veins, prepared to strike anytime. It features products like tees, hoodies, sweaters, accessories like caps and water bottles, and of course, basketball jerseys.

The Titan x THE Replacement Killers Collection is available at Titan, BGC store.
