As we’re working on posting this lookbook for PURVEYR Post Summer Program, rain is pouring outside, it couldn’t be more ironic. However, in living in the Philippines, we’ve come to accept that summer (heat) is actually all year round. So I guess, there isn’t really a wrong time to launch this collaboration collection.
The PURVEYR Post Summer Program is composed of three potential summer programs that we’d be interested to join – basketball, cycling, and art. We then chose three local brands that are available in the store that we think fit the programs, hence, Tenement for the summer basketball program, BRKLSS for the summer cycling program, and Revere for the summer art program. It’s as straightforward as that, no existential or complex meaning to it, plain playfulness in taking inspiration from something mundane and recreating it through each of the brands’ visions.
The lookbook is created and produced by TOFU and John Crawford. The three-piece collaboration collection will be released in PURVEYR Post on Friday, May 11, 2018.
