Timely for Nights of Rizal’s release of his most recent album, Summer/Salt, he performs one of the tracks from it. “Change, Erase” is reminiscent of the famous Netflix sci-fi series, Stranger Things. It may have inspired the tune, but ultimately, it’s Nights of Rizal’s electronic style and direction that pervades the track.

It’s inspiring to know that Migi de Belen has been pursuing music since 2008 as Nights of Rizal, and even earlier while being part of the band, Splitcide, from 2002-2006. It’s easy to understand why he seems effortless when performing, to add to that, he’s also part of the electronic-focused collective, BuwanBuwan.
