Within its five years of existence, Italian streetwear and luxury fashion label, Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh™ has proven that it is a force to be reckoned with. Having collaborated with the likes of Nike, RIMOWA, and IKEA, the brand—whose list of patrons include Jay-Z and Beyoncé—quickly rose to popular acclaim. This is owed largely to the inventiveness and vision of its founder, Virgil Abloh.
After months of teasing over social media, the streetwear brand finally opened their Philippine branch last August 8 in 8 Rockwell, Makati, where one could gain access to the brand’s much-coveted Men’s and Women’s RTW, leather goods, and accessories—pieces not previously available in the Philippines.
If that’s not enough, the store boasts of a unique retail environment, a marriage of elegance and rawness—testament to the brand’s core: luxury, streetwear, and impeccable design. One could admire the store’s interiors while strolling around for designer pieces—the space, in particular, takes inspiration from Giorgio de Chirico’s Presente e passato (1936) and Piazza d’Italia con statua (1937) for its contemporary, elegant style while the elements of repurposed copper tubes and bottles balance these out so the place still exudes a relaxed and laidback feel.
Nonetheless, if you’re looking to score some designer shirts, bags, or other collaterals, head on to 8 Rockwell for a taste of what Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh™ has to offer.
