Although roads in Manila aren’t as safe and friendly for cycling, they’re not stopping the local cycling community from growing. In addition, a lot of groups and brands have been heavy supporters of the culture, an added boost to its development and awareness. And since we house brands in PURVEYR Post that get inspiration from cycling culture—fixed gear in particular—it’s fitting to create a lookbook inspired by it as well. We have PURVEYR Post’s Store Supervisor, Kevien Medina, model for this lookbook—to showcase the lifestyle more naturally since he’s been a regular cyclist for five years and counting. He rides regularly around the city, and does a few rides outside as well, to Baguio, Batangas and Laguna.
