It’s been roughly a month since SCOUT threw its most ambitious party yet, but there’s still time for us to look back at everything that happened. From showcasing various artists, featuring different music acts across genres, supporting local brands and merchants, to welcoming everyone, regardless of subcultures, SCOUT General Public stayed true to its message—that there’s glory in breaking barriers and coming as you are. No cliques. No exclusivity. Because acceptance is progress.
For many artists and performers there, SCOUT gave them their big break and was instrumental to getting them where they are now. SCOUT made them feel less afraid to express who they are and show their work. And this spirit of openness and diversity was very apparent during that night as the party made sure that there was something that would appeal to each and everyone’s tastes—may it be through music, art, games, giveaways, retail, and food.
