“Introspective” was the first word that crwn said when asked of what ‘In Bloom’ stood for. Fresh from his latest mixtape Orchid, ‘In Bloom’ immediately takes you through a pensive mood. It makes use of distorted and ambient beats that shifts from calm, soft, and hard-hitting.
crwn shared that for his latest work, he took a lot more thought and time as following up his previous two releases was no easy feat. The pressure was definitely there, which was why he took a lot of time to refocus on himself, not on what the people around him says. Thus, ‘In Bloom’ is his ode to the whole process—saying that things sometimes take quite a time to bloom. And listening to the song transcends that message.
