From France all the way to Manila, Breakbot brought his much-awaited set to Palacio de Maynila last September 21. Even better, he brought his long-time collaborator Irfane with him to give his Filipino fans a memorable, feet-stomping, and energetic Manila debut.
The set became an ultimate dance party as Breakbot played his hits — most notably ‘Baby I’m Yours’ and ‘You Should Know.’ It was nothing short of the typical Breakbot set his fans have come to know and love — retrofuturistic and electrohouse — with a whole lot of groove and complemented by Irfane’s boogie voice.
But the night featured not only the iconic duo. The show kicked off with a DJ set by Emel Rowe and Katrina Razon — setting up the mood for all show-goers. They were soon followed by the duo who also gave the already-groovy track, Funky Town, even more groove with their tandem. Lastly, the show capped off with a takeover from The Diegos.
