Through “Discovery” we continue the circuit around Manila’s newest bars. It is a party series that brings quality programming to some of Makati’s newest underrated bars that features San Miguel Beer’s premium brews, comprised of San Miguel Super Dry, San Miguel Premium All Malt and Cerveza Negra. After the shenanigans at the kick off party at Futur:st, we decided to drop by for seconds in the recently opened, Bang! Bang! The fun new venue decorated with everything from neon colored plastic water guns to gold money cats represent a new generation of Poblacion establishments that had just opened in the last quarter. Located at P. Guanzon street, Bang! Bang! offers its guest an escape from Poblacion’s main party streets while keeping its spirit of unique and independently owned drinking establishments.
This time around, San Miguel Beer taps on the established producer and DJ collective, Logiclub, to take over its sound system. Known for being a home to music heavyweights like Crwn, Curtismith, and Kidthrones, the collective undeniably brought together a discerning and music loving crowd to Bang! Bang! The night kick started with Luh Masheen – an up and coming DJ who brought groovy disco to his opening set. And for the main set, renowned producer and selector, Pillowtalk got the crowd moving to his wide-reaching selection of golden age hip-hop and soulful R&B. Lastly, Nomoclassiq wrapped it up nicely with indie and electronic dance tracks.
