There’s no denying the grave impact that COVID-19 and the enhanced community quarantine have — especially on one’s livelihood. Freelancers and creatives depend on the projects that come in, and in this period of uncertainty, this fact can be a source of anxiety and unease. It’s a tricky time, but Indierectory Manila 2020 is reopening once more, providing a catalogue of freelance creatives to showcase their work for hiring agencies and companies seeking collaborators.
The initiative by GIGIL, an independent ideas agency itself, is a gallery of a wide array of independent talents featuring their contact details and portfolios. Due to its successful launch in 2019, it currently has 77 members on the list. From film directors to calligraphers and everything else in between, GIGIL aims to keep Manila’s wide selection of skilled creatives thrive in their independent pursuits — especially in this critical time.
