UNIQLO is known for well-designed casual garments that brought good and intentional design to more Filipinos. The brand arrived in the Philippines in 2012 and spearheaded a fashion wave that shifted Filipinos’ taste and demand for clothing. While already successful as they are, UNIQLO never stopped evolving. In 2016, UNIQLO U was born — the brainchild of the Japanese retailer and fashion savants Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran of Lemaire through UNIQLO’s Paris R&D. The collaboration brought an even more tasteful lens to what UNIQLO does great — accessible well-designed daily clothes for everyone.

In Christophe Lemaire’s words, “I see this project as a true achievement, a dream come true; bringing the best qualitative and stylish apparel for everyday life to a wide variety of people.” Through his sophisticated approach to clothes, Christophe was able to bring out a unique flavor and new perspective for UNIQLO U.

Fast forward to 2026, the 10th year of UNIQLO U, the beautiful partnership between UNIQLO and the duo Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran is closing with this latest collection. A symbol of the complete symbiosis between two creative forces that gave birth to a cohesive line that blends Lemaire’s design philosophy and UNIQLO’s ‘Made For All’ vision. The UNIQLO U Fall/Winter 2026 establishes the complete form of ‘Future LifeWear’. This transition exhibits the trust of the Lemaire duo to UNIQLO that they have fully embodied the vision for the line, and in turn the confidence of UNIQLO to continue the label’s legacy without its co-creators.
